STOP & SHOP

Well-known for quality throughout New England, the highly respected grocery chain, Stop & Shop, decided to expand into the New York tri-state marketplace. Mercurylab was asked to partner with the retail firm that was brought in to design new stores and to modernize Stop & Shop’s retail presence.
After conducting extensive external and internal research, Mercurylab created a more contemporary overall feeling for Stop & Shop’s brand. We brought their peak characteristics to life through an updated graphic identity, environmental signage, and streamlined brand standards for intensive print and television regional advertising and marketing collateral materials.
Stop & Shop now has 375 stores successfully operating in the region. The Stop & Shop branding seen today is based on Mercurylab’s concepts.
